Germany’s fastest sprinter, Gina Lückenkemper, is at the center of our new campaign for the DFL Foundation. The 21-year-old, who finished fourth at the Olympics with the 4x100-meter relay, became the first German woman since 1991 to run 100 meters in under eleven seconds and is considered a major medal hopeful for the 2018 European Athletics Championships.

The spot has been airing since April 21, 2018 in the Bundesliga environment on Sky, Eurosport, ARD, SPORT1, and Nitro. In addition to the clip, a print ad was created — the campaign is supported by extensive social media activities.

The goal of the partnership between the DFL Foundation and the German Sports Aid Foundation, which has been in place since 2009, is to support young athletes on their way to the top of the world. The core of the partnership is the Nachwuchselite (youth elite) funding program of the German Sports Aid Foundation, which currently supports around 250 talents from Olympic, Paralympic, and deaf sports.
