A star-studded lineup for the DFL Foundation in support of Germany’s elite athletes: In our most extensive campaign to date, numerous Bundesliga stars draw attention to the achievements of young athletes in elite sports through a wide range of spots and measures. In line with the campaign motto, DFL Foundation ambassador Manuel Neuer, Daniel Caligiuri, Mario Götze, Serge Gnabry, Lukas Klostermann, Marco Reus, Davie Selke, Niklas Stark, and Lars Stindl stand “side by side” with twelve top athletes—including Fredi Bobic, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Board Member for Sport. Among the Olympic and Paralympic protagonists are Niko Kappel, Paralympic shot put champion and DFL Foundation curator; decathlon U20 world record holder Niklas Kaul; artistic gymnast Elisabeth Seitz; and beach volleyball Olympic champion Kira Walkenhorst.

The spots have been airing since August 30 in the Bundesliga environment on Sky, DAZN, ARD, SPORT1, and Nitro. They are accompanied by a social media campaign and 16 teaser films featuring many Bundesliga stars as well as athletes, bringing the motto “Side by Side” to life. A 60-second version of the spot and several print motifs round off the cross-media concept of the campaign.
